Michelle Lavigne, Founder/Owner

Michelle Lavigne is an Iowa native that has resided in the Denver-metro area for more than 40 years. She developed an interest in real estate and obtained her license in 2006 while working as public health professional. In 2015, Michelle was inspired to establish Reliance Realty of Colorado.

During Michelle’s thirty years of State service, she held several positions that resulted in an in-depth understanding of many environmental, social, and cultural issues that exist within Colorado’s communities. This wealth of knowledge contributes to the comprehensive approach used when working with buyers, sellers and business owners. She has successfully facilitated numerous transactions ranging from starter to luxury homes, vacant land and commercial leases. In addition, Michelle has worked with local custom home builders and remodel contractors over recent years and is able to offer guidance in these areas.

Michelle is highly regarded by the clients she has served. In addition, she has become an inspiration to women and leaders in her community and a mentor to many of her peers in the real estate industry.

Vickel Maharaj

Vickel Maharaj (Vick) has over 20 years of Managerial and Customer Service experience. He spent 20 years working for the state Laboratory, the last 13 years as the Operations Materials Manager.

Vickel was a huge part of the initial COVID-19 response for the State of Colorado, using his vast experience and relationships with vendors to enable the Laboratory to procure and disburse exceedingly important testing kits, masks and other PPE to public health agencies across the state, as well as help coordinate the first drive-up testing sites.

Now retired from the State of Colorado, Vickel is determined to use the skill sets acquired from his past experiences to continue to bring the quality realtor/client relationships that Reliance Realty of Colorado is known for.

Vickel was born in the Fiji Islands and moved to the United States when he was 5 years old. He is married to the love of his life, with whom he shares two children. He enjoys all types of sports, music, cooking, and traveling with family.
